You can feel free to pinch us now! We just received our copy of The Bulletin (the bi-annual magazine published by iconic American fabric house, F. Schumacher & Co.) and our One Room Challenge powder room project is featured!
The article recounts the history of the Pyne Hollyhock print, which Schumacher introduced in 2010. It was patterned after an English Chintz used by renowned designer Albert Hadley in the home of Nancy Pyne in 1962- a home that captured the heart of the interior design world for decades to come. When Ms. Pyne’s original fabric needed replacement, but was discontinued, Schumacher set out to meticulously recreate it.
The bold floral pattern and timeless colors made the resulting fabric and wallpaper line instantly beloved. We were certainly smitten the first time we saw it, and knew it would be perfect for this project. The Charcoal colorway gave our tiny bathroom huge impact. Seeing our project in print in this storied publication, and alongside such talented designers, is an absolute thrill! Thank you Schumacher!
