The Rookwood House is an architectural gem that belongs to an enchanting family, whose fearless, eclectic style led to a truly special and unique project. The original builder sought to recreate an authentic early American colonial home in the 1980’s. Our mission was to capitalize on the beauty of the original design and integrate its historic charm with updated functionality. We reconfigured a tiny kitchen to create a larger space, infused new life into restored antique floors, and made better sense of doors, windows, and pathways.
Bold patterns and color add playfulness, while classic details give this home a timeless appeal, all with an eye toward durable function and modern living for its busy growing family.

“ Our house was transformed! They listened to what we were trying to accomplish, but then created a new kitchen space that we couldn’t have dreamed of. We never had to wonder or worry about anything throughout the project. Everything turned out amazing and the attention to detail sets them apart.
