Project

The Pillement House was a grand, if dated, gem in a quintessential suburban Chicago neighborhood, ready to shed its early-2000's skin and live up to its classic architectural potential. The first step was to gut the ill-proportioned cabinetry and ornate columns in several rooms, and dress the walls and ceilings with traditional mouldings pulled from early American design. From there, we reimagined the main floor with patterned furnishings, lively tile, and antique touches.

The young family who lives here now has a home brimming with timeless character, one that can stand tall amidst its stately surroundings for years to come.

The design team made the whole stressful process a breeze. This design team worked so well with my construction team, that there was never an issue. I feel now like I am on a permanent luxury vacation. They thought of everything! Every. Single. Detail!!!
